I was fortunate enough to travel all the way to LAB DAY 2020 in Chicago, where I was specifically looking for reasons not to do digital dentures just because it was the new trend, but because it’s the new normal! And there I met Eric Kukucka, introducing the new Ivotion disc from Ivoclar, and that was the moment I was convinced I did the right thing by going digital with dentures! Even if I was doing it already, I took a 1-to-1 training with Eric, in which I found answers to all my questions regarding the 3shape denture module as well as the CAM part of the workflow. Then it was easy for me, I’ve always had the door opened at the TDC when I need it and I knew I was getting proved information from people that actually do this everyday and not just teach or promote! The new module training program is a must for anyone doing dentures, even if not digital yet, or if they’re experienced already, because there is always something to learn, and the small things make a big difference!
